Volunteer – We have volunteer opportunities with our Fresh Start Back to School Event (August) and our Great Book Giveaways (March). If you are interested in helping with Fresh Start (stuffing backpacks, helping to set up and/or with check-in at the distribution event in mid-August) or the Great Book Giveaways (helping with story time, setting up the book selections or helping families find the books they want to take home), please email Krista Brezina at childrensaidcalvert@gmail.com.
Hold a School Supply or Book Drive – It takes a lot of school supplies to fill over 250 backpacks! School supply and book drives are ideal for youth groups, churches and civic organizations. If your organization is interested in collecting school supplies or new, children’s books for Children’s Aid, please email Krista Brezina at childrensaidcalvert@gmail.com.
Conduct a Fundraiser in our Honor – There are many ways for schools, clubs and groups to raise funds to help us improve the lives of youth in Calvert County: bake sales, car washes, chili cook-offs, pancake breakfasts, gift-wrapping, yard sales, etc.
Or simply make a financial donation. It’s tax-deductible. We accept donations by debit/credit cards via PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/ncp/payment/ZQNXCMGHDD3BS and Venmo @ChildrensAidInc
If you would prefer to donate by check, please make your check payable to Children’s Aid, Inc. and mail it to 6205 Sandy Point Road, Prince Frederick, MD 20678
Thank you for your support!
